  It's great for a relaxing walk or a run around the lake. Plenty of wildlife in the area, so you may see herons, turtles, owls or possibly a coyote or wildcat. Plenty of the benches around the park have great views. It's definitely a place I like visiting as often as I can. The sounds of planes overhead or depending on where you are, cars driving nearby can ruin the serenity, but there's no real way around that considering where the park is located.

  Loved the museum! It literally brings you back to the early days of Burnaby and every staff we met at the museum was very kind and caring throughout our visit. Definitely a go-to place with kids =)

  Great place to visit on a nice day. In the summer u can rent a peddle boat. Nice walking trail and if u have some time u can walk over to the Burnaby art gallery during ur walk around the lake. Also there are washrooms.

  This is probably one of the best walks in suburban Vancouver/Burnaby. Yes, Stanley park trumps all as far as parks go, but if your around here, the loop around the lake is a quaint and special 30-40 minute easy stroll. Tell me if you see the turtles along the train (on the tree stump coming from the water). There are four in a row, moving so slow they are probably still there!
