  Great service and environment. Food has always been wonderful and the chef always gives a little treat. Excellent selection of wines and great advice on food pairing. Patio in the summer has a splendid view.

  Once bought a Groupon, food was ok, wine was brought to us already opened with missing a few ounces. Would not recommend.

  I write this review not for the Hart House as a restaurant, but as the Hart House wedding reception venue. What can I say, this is a great location, lake side venue with a quaint little house beside it. Lots of space to roam around(as shown in 360 photos), even go around the lake and take wedding pictures of one chooses. The food was amazing. One way to find out if the food is good is how how they cook the fish. It's not unusual for restaurants even fine dining to over cook and have dry fish, especially catering to a large group such as a wedding. However the sable fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly, succulent and moist, not dry and flaky at all. The staff was very polite, professional and attentive. Just because they are serving a large group, it didn't diminish their service one bit. Would love to try the actual restaurant experience.
